Well, well. I have been really busy and fell behind a little with this thing.

Iceman has come and gone. The flippin SIMONSTER won that thing! I am pretty excited about that. Its been a long time since a homeboy took that race, especially in such a fashion that he did. Mikey is the maaaan.

The MI 'cross scene got rocked last week by Weinert, Jonny Card and Foshag. Those guys worked everyone over and Rob took the win in his hometown. I'm really happy for those guys. All 3 of them are really awesome dudes and are some good folks to be racing with. They show up to the road races with 3 or 4 guys and still end up putting Card on top of the results most of the time.

Looks like Tree Farm took home another win this weekend. 6'5" of pure 'cross madness.
I guess there was a North Carolina UCI race this weekend and some guys from around here headed down there. I'm excited to see how they did.

I leave for Colorado on Tuesday. Gonna go do some early season boarding and skiing and a little bit of riding too if the weather isn't too bad... but you never know in CO until you are actually on your bike.

Well I'm off. I have to read the novel "Sun Diata; An Epic of Old Mali" by 7:30 tonight. I'm pretty pumped for that... .naaaah. God bless elective classes that have no purpose towards my major. I'm sure when I'm 50 years old running my own financial planning services business I will reflect on the Sun Diata novel and be so incredibly happy that I read it... yeah eff that. Peace y'all.

Iceman weekend...

It's here and I'm excited. I'm not even racing and I am still flippin pumped. This is one of my favorite weekends of the year. Good racing, good people, good food and of course... good parties.

As far as I'm concerned, Adam Craig will stomp everyone. That guy is cool as hell. I had never met him before last year but we got to talking during a pre-ride and at the expo. Basically we spent a good amount of time making fun of DOUCHE BAG Ryder Hesjedal and how he has sand in his vagina and that's why he didn't win Iceman when he raced a couple years ago. Screw that ass hole

But as far as the Michigan dudes go... well obviously Simonson is going to have a good race. The guy has ripped a whole in the Michigan MTB scene this year, not to mention his good 'crossin as of late. I think the Simonster can break top 5 with a little luck and a good day. That's of course assuming that the fast guys show up again (JHK, Travis Brown, Craig, etc). Tristan Schouten is riding well right now too.

How bout Wells and Compton beating some ass in Boulder... that's pretty sweet.

Hey Wells... sweet shirt.

Jon Card is riding like an animal right now.

Sven Nys is still a god.

PS- Wearing Safety glasses in a bike race is a definate party foul. Anyone who wears safety glasses in a bicycle race is a faggot.

Good luck to everyone this weekend.
